Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 11-year-old Dexter.

Here is Baypath’s description of Dexter:

“Watching Dexter bounce around with his favorite toys, you’d never guess his age. Everyone who meets him is always stunned to hear that Dexter is 11! He has such a playful, youthful spirit, so you’d never guess it!

“Dexter hopes to celebrate the holidays this year with his new family. Eating yummy food and meeting new friends are some of his favorite activities! Dexter is a social boy who loves to spend time with people and make them laugh. He is one of the silliest boys you’ll ever meet.

“If you think you need someone to make you smile, look no further. Dexter is here to save the day.”
