by | Dec 11, 2023 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

Select Board chair Muriel Kramer announced that she experienced a stroke Wednesday evening. She has been “resting and doing well” since returning home from the hospital.

The School Committee heard presentations on the Hopkins addition project and proposed budgets for various schools, the central office and the Building & Grounds Department at Thursday’s meeting.

At Thursday’s Open Space Preservation Commission meeting, Land Use Department administrative assistant Shannon Isaacs told the commission that she was asked by Principal Planner John Gelcich to obtain an updated map and plan for the 12-unit subdivision off Whisper Way that the OSPC reviewed at its November meeting.

A travel blog recently named Hopkinton the “most peaceful town to visit” in the country.

The Hopkinton Trails Club will hold its next monthly meeting this Wednesday from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Hopkinton Public Library.

Town meetings tonight include the Capital Improvement Committee (6) and Trustees of the School Fund (7:30).
