Narcan training rescheduled to Thursday

by | Feb 14, 2024 | News

The Hopkinton Health Department announced that a Narcan administration training session will be held Thursday (Feb. 15) from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Hopkinton Public Library. It originally was scheduled for Tuesday but was canceled due to the snowstorm that forced the closure of municipal buildings, including the library.

The Health Department will be distributing free Narcan kits to anyone interested. No registration is required.

The training will teach people how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and administer the opioid overdose reversal drug, which is also known as naloxone.
