Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

A group of Hopkinton High School sophomores has made it their mission to spread awareness about the prevalence of noncommunicable diseases and the inequities that exist in economically disadvantaged areas.

Town Manager Norman Khumalo announced Monday in a press release that Hopkinton received notification from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue of approval of its available funds, or free cash, of more than $9.5 million following fiscal year 2023.

Hopkinton Boy Scouts Troop 4 will hold its annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, April 6, from 7:30-11:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church. Scouts will serve a variety of pancakes along with sausage, juice, coffee and more. There also will be a silent auction.

Town meetings tonight include the Board of Assessors (5:30), Select Board (6), Design Review Board (6), Elementary School Building Committee (6), Veterans Celebration Committee (6) and Conservation Commission (7).
