The Hopkinton Marathon Committee is sponsoring a free 100-yard dash for children ages 5-12 on Saturday, April 13 (two days before the Boston Marathon) at 1 p.m. at the Town Common.

Photo of the Day: The Massachusetts Music Educators Association All-State Concert Festival was held this past Saturday at Boston Symphony Hall. It featured the top high school musicians from around the state performing band, orchestral, jazz and choral works. Hopkinton High School students Aritro Chatterjee (orchestra), Aman Kumar (orchestra) and Aditya Machiraju (band) were among those who auditioned and were selected to perform.
