The Milford man accused of striking a Milford woman with his car and killing her in an apparent road rage incident in Hopkinton will continue to be held without bail, according to multiple news sources.

Health Department Director Shaun McAuliffe on Wednesday warned residents of the presence of a large pool of mosquitoes carrying the West Nile virus in the area.

The Parks & Recreation Commission at its meeting Tuesday evening voted 4-0 to approve a new program registration refund and cancellation policy because last-minute cancellations have created a burden for department staff and vendors.

This week’s Police Log includes two arrests along with reports of an owl stuck in a soccer net, a bird in a chimney and an injured rabbit.

The Hopkinton Center for the Arts is hosting two performances of “The Aristocats” this Saturday, July 27, from 12-1 p.m. and from 2:30-3:30 p.m. An Enter Stage Left Theater youth production, the musical is based on the beloved Disney classic.

Town meetings today include the School Committee (11:30 a.m.), Community Preservation Committee (7 p.m.) and Elementary School Building Committee (7 p.m.).
