Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

According to an email Friday from Superintendent Carol Cavanaugh, a “non-instructional staff member” at Hopkinton Middle School has been arrested on criminal charges related to child pornography. Massachusetts State Police do not believe these charges involve any Hopkinton students.

In the latest Hopkinton High School Sports Roundup, boys soccer takes a home victory in a Division 2 preliminary round match, and field hockey advances with a win against Oliver Ames.

The latest Main Street Corridor Project update released by the town noted that walkway work at 35 and 77 Main Street would be finalized on Monday and Tuesday.

Wayne Wright Merrifield, 72, a lifelong resident of Hopkinton, passed away Oct. 28 after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer.

Town meetings tonight include the Sustainable Green Committee (6) and the Planning Board (7).
