The Hopkinton Trails Committee and the Hopkinton Trails Club have created a monthly trail volunteer day on the first Saturday of each month from 9 a.m.-noon. The next workday is Dec. 6 and will involved spreading wood chips on the Hughes Farm Trail extension to protect exposed tree roots. Participants can park at the Joseph Road cul-de-sac.
