Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 9-year-old Daphne.
Here is Baypath’s description of Daphne:

Daphne is sweet, affectionate and loves spending time with her people. “Daphne also has great communication skills! Like many cats, she can become a little overstimulated during long petting sessions, so she’s looking for someone who understands her cues and respects when she’s ready for a break. She’ll happily soak up attention, then politely let you know when she’s all done.
