Brad Walker found the theater after a football injury in high school. He went on to major in theater and history and later studied at the Globe Theatre Project in London. He became more involved in acting after moving to Hopkinton 26 years ago. His career highlights include an appearance in the 2015 movie “Black Mass” and awards from Broadway World Magazine for stage roles in “Of Mice and Men” and “Proof.” Walker recently starred in “Moon Man,” a locally made film that screened at the Robert Goddard Space Center earlier this summer. He said he enjoys the storytelling aspect of acting and appreciates the friendships he’s made. “I suppose that’s the highlight,” said Walker, “the friends and acquaintances I’ve accumulated over time.”
The Arts Residency, sponsored by realtor Alan Connell, is a regular Hopkinton Independent feature. Every other week, Hopkinton Independent staff selects an individual to highlight following consultation with leaders in the local arts community.
