Additional overnight ramp closures at I-495 south/I-90 interchange set for Monday, Tuesday

by | Sep 27, 2024 |

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced that more overnight ramp closures at the interchange of Interstate 495 southbound and Interstate 90 will take place Monday and Tuesday.

Closures will start at 11 p.m. and end at 5 a.m. MassDOT anticipates work to be completed by Wednesday morning.

Both the on-ramp to I-90 and the off-ramp to I-495 will undergo maintenance. Detours will route drivers either up to Route 9 westbound (Exit 59B) or West Main Street (Exit 54A) depending on which ramp is closed.

Appropriate signage and law enforcement details will be in place. Drivers should anticipate delays and exercise caution while traveling through work zones.

For more information on traffic conditions, drivers can visit the Mass511 website, which features travel times and real-time traffic.
