Additional overnight ramp closures at I-90/I-495 interchange begin Sunday

Overnight work on ramps at the Interstate 90/I-495 interchange in Hopkinton will continue starting Sunday.

According to a notice from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, separate phases of ramp work at the interchange will begin Sunday night and continue through Friday morning.

The I-90 eastbound ramp to I-495 northbound (Exit 106) will be closed Monday night through Thursday morning. Traffic will detour southbound on I-495 to West Main Street (Exit 54A) to reverse direction to I-495 north.

Work on the I-495 ramp to I-90 westbound (Exit 58) will begin Tuesday night. Traffic will detour onto I-90 eastbound and use Exit 111 in order to reverse direction. Work on the ramp is scheduled through Thursday morning.

On Sunday and Thursday, the I-90 eastbound ramp (Exit 106) to I-495 will be closed. Drivers will be detoured down I-90 eastbound to Route 9 westbound (Exit 111) to access I-495.

Appropriate signage and law enforcement details will be in place. Drivers should anticipate delays and exercise caution while traveling through work zones.
