Anne was a faithful lifelong member of Faith Community Church in Hopkinton. She was artistically talented and enjoyed painting, family parties and holidays, spending time with her loved ones, Sunday road trips with her husband, Art, and Cape Cod vacations with her girlfriends. She was very caring, devoted, social, strong and thoughtful to all who knew her. She was an anchor to the family, laughed easily and had a steadfast faith.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Arthur W. Fairbanks Sr., brother Edward Kennedy and wife Brenda (Witkowski), sister Janet Parks (Kennedy), and brother Richard Kennedy. She also has left behind her children and stepchildren: Donna L. Fairbanks, Kathleen A. (Hilditch) Campbell, Tammie (Fairbanks) Talvey and husband David, John A. Hilditch and wife Karen (Heyward), Arthur W. Fairbanks Jr. and wife Janet (Dykstra), Nancy (Hilditch) Moschini and husband Peter, and Marcy Fairbanks-Linane and deceased husband Dennis Linane, as well as many nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her infant daughter, Julie Hilditch.

Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 8, from 4-7 p.m. at Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton, 57 Hayden Rowe Street. A celebration of life will take place Saturday, Sept. 9, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Rural Cemetery in Southborough.  Following burial, a reception will be held at 1 p.m. at Faith Community Church, 146 East Main Street, Hopkinton.
