Chestnut Street accident

July 4
12:00 a.m. A caller reported a vehicle flipped on its back and a person was trapped inside on Chestnut Street. Sergeant William Burchard and Officers Tyler Brabham, Brittany Firth and Jessica Ferreira responded along with the Fire Department and an ambulance. One person was extricated from the vehicle. Three people were transported to UMass Medical Center. Officer Tyler Brabham followed the ambulance to the hospital and subsequently arrested a 27-year-old Front Street resident and charged him with OUI liquor, marked lanes violation, speeding, and drinking alcohol from an open container. Property damage to a Chestnut Street residence and a Springwood Estates sign were found.

June 29
12:11 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley checked on a vehicle behind a West Main Street building. The driver was all set.
2:22 a.m. Officer Cody Normandin checked on a vehicle on Cross Street and moved the driver along.
8:26 a.m. A caller reported breaking and entering, stolen property and vandalism of commercial property on East Street. Officer Matthew Santoro responded and took a report.
8:39 a.m. Sergeant Timothy Brennan responded along with the Fire Department to a smoking mulch fire on West Main Street. The fire was extinguished.
11:07 a.m. Sergeant Timothy Brennan and Officers Jay Deiana and Kevin Sager completed community policing on Elm Street.
11:16 a.m. A West Main Street business employee reported there was a car parked in the parking lot since 6 a.m., blocking deliveries. Officers Jay Deiana and Kevin Sager responded and contacted a towing company.
3:29 p.m. A Church Street caller reported someone took his photograph. Officer Robert Ekross responded and took a report of the suspicious incident.
5:02 p.m. A caller requested to speak with an officer about fraud. Officer Robert Ekross assisted and the incident was confirmed a scam.
5:47 p.m. A Lakeshore Drive caller reported a pontoon boat on Sandy Beach with a fire burning. Officer Jessica Ferreira responded and spoke with the parties on the beach.
7:35 p.m. The Natick Police Department requested a check of a vehicle involved in an earlier accident at the Natick Mall. Officer Robert Ekross responded to Crispwater Way to speak with an individual.
7:50 p.m. A caller complained of three vehicles drag racing down South Street. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil and Officer Jessica Ferreira responded and spoke with the drivers.
8:54 p.m. A resident on West Main Street requested the air conditioning be turned on. Officer Jessica Ferreira notified the front desk at the facility.
11:56 p.m. Officer Cody Normandin checked on Lakeshore Drive property.

June 30
12:00 a.m. Officer Jessica Ferreira checked on East Street property.
12:35 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley checked on Constitution Court property.
12:44 a.m. A motorist reported youths in dark clothing walking down East Main Street and stated it was difficult for motorists to see them. Officers Stephen Buckley and Jessica Ferreira responded and checked the area with a negative find.
7:16 a.m. A caller reported losing her wallet and wanted the incident logged.
7:51 a.m. A caller reported a $300 suspicious charge on her credit card. Officer Kevin Sager took a report.
10:58 a.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan completed community policing on Mayhew Street.
2:19 p.m. Officer Kevin Sager assisted a disabled camper that broke down on West Main Street.
2:43 p.m. A caller reported being scammed out of money via Venmo. Officer Matthew Santoro took a report.
5:52 p.m. Officer Tyler Brabham responded to a minor motor vehicle accident on Chestnut Street and assisted with paper exchange. No personal injuries were reported.
6:34 p.m. Multiple callers reported a fallen tree on wires on Eastview Road. Officer Brendon Lyver responded, placed two cones in the area and notified Eversource.
6:40 p.m. Multiple callers reported a fallen tree blocking the roadway of Alprilla Farm Road. Sergeant William Burchard responded along with the DPW, and the tree was removed.
6:42 p.m. Sergeant William Burchard responded along with the DPW to clear trees from Hilltop Road.
6:50 p.m. Multiple callers reported a fallen tree on Carriage Hill Road. The DPW was notified.
7:07 p.m. The Fire Department responded to a report of a tree that fell on a Hayden Rowe Street house. The building inspector responded.
7:15 p.m. The Fire Department reported a fallen tree on wires on Robbern Road. Officer Tyler Brabham placed cones in the area and notified Eversource.
7:35 p.m. A caller reported a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident on West Main Street. Officer Brendon Lyver responded and took a report.
10:22 p.m. Officer Tyler Brabham completed checks of a Main Street building.

July 1
12:33 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley completed checks of East Street property.
1:00 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley completed checks of Wilson Street property.
1:41 a.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield checked on Wilson Street property.
7:59 a.m. Officers Jessica Ferreira and Moira McGaffigan completed community policing on South Street.
9:14 a.m. A Fruit Street caller reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
10:01 a.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan took a report of fraud.
11:52 a.m. Officer Matthew Santoro assisted a walk-in with fingerprinting.
12:39 p.m. The DPW requested assistance with traffic control on Oakhurst Road. Officer Jessica Ferreira responded and assisted.
1:07 p.m. School Resource Officer Philip Powers reported the visiting team at the high school baseball game on Hayden Rowe Street was acting out of control. Officers Matthew Santoro and Moira McGaffigan responded and all checked out OK.
1:48 p.m. Sergeant Scott van Raalten and Officers Matthew Santoro, Jessica Ferreira and Moira McGaffigan responded to Constitution Court for a report of a youth bleeding from the stomach, possibly from a fight. Officers found a 14-year-old male bleeding from the stomach, possibly due to a stabbing. Two suspects fled the scene. An ambulance was requested and transported the teen to UMass Memorial Medical Center. An investigation was underway.
3:36 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle as abandoned on Walcott Valley Drive. Officers Brian Sanchioni and Kevin Sager checked on the vehicle and spoke with the owner.
3:55 p.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield and Officers Brian Sanchioni and Kevin Sager responded to a motor vehicle accident on South Street. No personal injuries were reported.
4:17 p.m. Officer Brian Sanchioni and K9 Titan were deployed to Constitution Court.
6:45 p.m. Officer Brendon Lyver assisted a disabled motor vehicle on Main Street and requested assistance from the Fire Department for a fuel leak.
6:57 p.m. A caller reported a male in white shorts, blue shirt and a backward hat was jumping in front of traffic on Cedar Street. Sergeant Arthur Schofield and Officers Brian Sanchioni and Kevin Sager responded and checked the area with a negative find.
7:07 p.m. Officers Brian Sanchioni and Kevin Sager checked on Wilson Street property.
8:18 p.m. Officer Brendon Lyver checked on a vehicle parked on West Main Street and spoke with the driver. All was OK.
9:39 p.m. The suspect from a previous incident turned himself in at the station and was taken into custody.
10:26 p.m. An Eastview Road resident reported hearing a loud noise, possibly a gunshot or a transformer. Officer Brian Sanchioni responded and checked the area with a negative find.

July 2
12:18 a.m. Officer Brittany Firth checked on an occupied vehicle at the State Park boat ramp on Legacy Farms North and moved the driver along.
3:54 a.m. A caller reported a possible wrong-way driver getting on or off Interstate 495. No description of the vehicle was given. Sergeant William Burchard and Officer Brian Sanchioni responded and checked the area with a negative find. The State Police were notified.
4:03 a.m. Officer Brian Sanchioni came across an unoccupied vehicle in a West Main Street parking lot with heavy front end damage and a deployed air bag. The State Police were notified, and they reported the vehicle was involved in an accident and towed to the parking lot.
4:17 a.m. Officer Brian Sanchioni completed checks of Sandy Beach on Lakeshore Drive.
8:20 a.m. Walk-in parents were concerned a high school student sold contraband to their middle school student son. Officer Ryan Polselli assisted and took a report.
10:22 a.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan completed community policing on Mayhew Street.
10:35 a.m. A caller complained about a police detail on Main Street. Sergeant Timothy Brennan checked on and spoke with the detail and all was OK.
2:01 p.m. A caller reported a fallen tree on wires on Hilltop Road. Officer Ryan Polselli responded and contacted Eversource.
6:30 p.m. Officer Robert Ekross checked on Wilson Street property.
7:11 p.m. A Front Street resident reported a coyote was hanging around his backyard. The animal control officer was notified.
8:16 p.m. Officer Robert Ekross assisted a disabled motor vehicle on West Main Street.
8:48 p.m. Dell EMC security on South Street reported 40 cars were in the company’s garage. Officers Robert Ekross, Brian Sanchioni, Philip Powers and Kevin Sager responded and reported a group was having a memorial service.
11:45 p.m. Officer Brittany Firth completed checks of Fruit Street property.

July 3
12:36 a.m. Officer Brittany Firth checked on two people on Lakeshore Drive and moved them along.
10:36 a.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan completed checks of Wilson Street property.
4:40 p.m. Sergeant Timothy Brennan completed community relations on Constitution Court.
6:13 p.m. A caller reported a tree limb hanging low on Wood Street. Officer Robert Ekross responded and moved it.
6:25 p.m. Officer Robert Ekross checked on a motor vehicle on Fruit Street and moved the occupants along.
6:47 p.m. An Alprilla Farm Road resident reported a coyote walking in a circle in his yard and unfazed by attempts to scare it off. The animal control officer responded and subsequently put the animal down.
9:14 p.m. Officer Robert Ekross assisted a disabled motor vehicle on West Main Street.

July 4
2:27 a.m. Officer Brittany Firth checked on Fruit Street property.
2:58 a.m. Officer Brittany Firth checked on Lakeshore Drive property.
11:50 a.m. Officer Jessica Ferreira completed community relations on Constitution Court.
11:53 a.m. A Meserve Street caller reported a dog missing. Sergeant Timothy Brennan responded and the dog was located.
1:08 p.m. Sergeant Timothy Brennan and Officer Ryan Polselli checked on a motor vehicle parked on West Main Street. All was OK.
1:55 p.m. A caller complained of loud motorbike noise on North Mill Street. Officer Jessica Ferreira responded and the motorbike was gone upon her arrival.
7:16 p.m. A caller reported an erratic motor vehicle drove through red lights and was all over the roadway on Kimball Road. Officers Ryan Polselli and Tyler Brabham responded and spoke with the driver.
8:41 p.m. A Hayden Rowe Street resident complained of someone lighting fireworks in the area. Officer Ryan Polselli responded and did not find the source.
9:27 p.m. A caller reported fireworks in the area of Hayden Rowe Street. Officer Ryan Polselli responded and checked the area with a negative find.
10:27 p.m. A caller complained of two motorcycles racing up and down Downey Street with no headlights on. Officer Robert Ekross responded and checked the area with a negative find.

July 5
12:29 a.m. Officer Brittany Firth checked on Wilson Street property.
6:15 a.m. A caller reported a loose black dog walking around West Main Street. Officers Cody Normandin and Jessica Ferreira responded and were unable to locate the dog.
6:40 a.m. Multiple callers reported a small black dog walking on West Main Street. Officers Cody Normandin and Jessica Ferreira responded to the area and assisted the owners in searching for the dog.
7:02 a.m. Sergeant Timothy Brennan assisted the State Police and the animal control officer in finding a missing dog from a previous incident.
7:53 a.m. A caller complained that traffic was backed up on Cedar Street from the State Park. Officers Philip Powers and Jessica Ferreira responded and reported traffic was OK.
7:59 a.m. A caller reported construction equipment was stolen from Poplar Lane. Officer Philip Powers responded and took a report.
9:13 a.m. Sergeant Timothy Brennan assisted a disabled vehicle and trailer on South Street. A tow truck was en route.
11:25 a.m. Officer Jessica Ferreira completed community policing on Constitution Court.
12:20 p.m. A caller reported two deer were hit on Interstate 495 southbound. The State Police were notified.
1:19 p.m. A Davis Road resident reported fraudulent charges on her account. Officer Philip Powers responded and assisted the caller.
2:24 p.m. A caller reported the “walk” sign on West Main Street was malfunctioning. Officer Jessica Ferreira responded and reported the lights were reset.
3:25 p.m. A Briarcliff Drive resident reported receiving a suspicious phone call. Officer Ryan Polselli spoke to the caller and assisted.
5:20 p.m. Officer Robert Ekross reported a dead skunk in the roadway of Hayden Rowe Street. A message was left with the DPW.
9:00 p.m. A caller reported a large party on Front Street and people shooting off fireworks. Officers Ryan Polselli and Robert Ekross responded and spoke to the parties, and they were to pack it up for the night.
9:15 p.m. A caller reported a loose white shepherd on Stewart Street. Officer Ryan Polselli responded and left a message with the animal control officer. The owner called and was to pick up the dog.
