Baypath Adoptable Animal of the Week: Atticus

Adoptable Animal-Atticus

Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 8-month-old Atticus.

Here is Baypath’s description of Atticus:

“Looking for a fun-loving, energetic companion to join you on hikes, beach days, or backyard play sessions? Atticus is a charming adolescent hound mix with a zest for life and a heart full of love.

“This handsome pup is the full package: sweet-natured, playful and eager to learn. He loves chasing toys, exploring the outdoors and showing off new tricks for treats. After a busy day, he’s ready to curl up for some well-earned cuddle time.

“As a typical hound, Atticus isn’t shy about using his big, beautiful voice to share his excitement, it’s part of his endearing personality! He enjoys the company of other dogs, though we’re still learning how he does with cats. With his food motivation and eagerness to please, training is both fun and rewarding.

“Atticus is searching for an active family who understands the energy and intelligence of a young hound mix. Could he be the perfect match for you?”

For more information on Atticus and any of the other available pets at Baypath, email adopt@baypathhumane.org or visit baypathhumane.org/adopt.
