Baypath Adoptable Animal of the Week: Bear

by | Apr 3, 2025 | Featured

Adoptable Animal-Bear

Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 3-year-old Bear.

Here is Baypath’s description of Bear:

“Meet Bear, a special soul looking for his forever home!

“Bear is a stunning, sweet-natured, blind labradoodle with a heart full of love to give! This special boy doesn’t let his lack of sight slow him down — he enjoys exploring safe areas on leash walks and relies on his people for guidance and comfort.

“Bear gets along well with other dogs, though he prefers laid-back companions over high-energy playmates. He has also lived with a dog-savvy cat and done well!

“This gentle boy would thrive in a home with teens and adults who understand his needs. A secure, fenced-in yard would be ideal so he can safely roam and enjoy his surroundings. As a labradoodle, he will need regular grooming to keep his beautiful coat healthy, so breed experience or education is a plus!

“If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate and truly special companion, Bear is ready to meet you! Start the process today and give this gorgeous boy the loving home he deserves!”

For more information on Bear and any of the other available pets at Baypath, email adopt@baypathhumane.org or visit baypathhumane.org/adopt.
