Baypath Adoptable Animal of the Week: Betty Lou

by | Aug 4, 2022 | Featured

Betty Lou

Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 2-year-old Betty Lou.

Here is Baypath’s description of Betty Lou:

“Betty Lou has never met a stranger — everyone is an immediate friend! She is such a staff favorite and we love it when she helps us with office work. She just quietly explores the office, finds a bed and curls up in the sun. She truly loves to just spend time with people. She is one of the sweetest girls we know.

“Betty is a perfect walking buddy and loves to sniff everything on the trail. She is a very playful girl and loves chasing toys. When we play with her she tries to ‘talk.’ It is a cute playful hound language that makes everyone laugh.

Betty is very smart and food motivated! She can’t wait to continue training. She even loves nose work and has worked with a trainer!

Betty may do well living in a home with dogs, cats and kids. She would do best in a quiet area (she can be reactive to lots of cars going by and may react to dogs — we have only had her meet a few and she can be selective). A family with some dog experience would be advantageous. She is going to make her family so happy!”

For more information on Betty Lou and any of the other available pets at Baypath, email adopt@baypathhumane.org or visit baypathhumane.org/adopt.
