Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 3-year-old Dottie.
Here is Baypath’s description of Dottie:
“Dottie is ready to start the new year in a home of her own. Her hope for the year ahead is simple: a forever family to share it with.
“Thanks to a generous sponsor, Dottie’s adoption fee is fully covered. In foster care, she has been a wonderful house guest — fully house-trained, sleeping soundly through the night, low maintenance and consistently entertaining. She has a great sense of humor, loves playtime and has a knack for keeping everyone around her smiling.
“While Dottie is a summer-loving girl at heart who enjoys sunbathing, rolling in the grass, and splashing in any body of water she can find, she also settles in beautifully at home. Cozy naps under blankets, relaxing downtime and easy companionship come naturally to her.
“Dottie would make a fantastic addition to a home looking for a well-rounded, easygoing companion to begin the year with.”
