Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 10-year-old Freya.

Here is Baypath’s description of Freya:

“Freya is a gentle, affectionate senior searching for the retirement home of her dreams! After spending 10 years with a loving family, she found herself needing a new home due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control.

“Freya is a social butterfly who loves meeting new people, soaking up the sunshine, taking leisurely walks and snuggling with her favorite humans. She also gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has been an easy, house-trained guest in her foster home. Now, this sweet senior queen is ready for a family and a cozy place to call her own.”
