Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 8-year-old Lola.
Here is Baypath’s description of Lola:

“At 8 years young, Lola is a sweet and gentle girl with plenty of pep still left in her step. This social butterfly loves being part of the action and enjoys spending time with both people and other dogs. She’s done well with canine friends of all sizes and ages and is always happy to make a new buddy.
“Lola is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. She loves going for walks with her volunteer friends, never says no to a game of fetch and greets her favorite people with the happiest full-body wiggles. She also has the softest, gentlest way of taking treats that quickly wins everyone over.
