Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 4-year-old Louie.

Here is Baypath’s description of Louie:

“Louie is a small, sensitive pup looking for a calm home where he can feel safe and take things at his own pace. He may be shy at first, but with patience and a predictable routine, his gentle, sweet personality begins to shine.

“Louie gains confidence from other dogs and would do best in a home with a friendly, confident canine companion to help guide him. A quieter household with teens or adults who understand that trust takes time would be the perfect fit.
