Baypath Adoptable Animal of the Week: Luke

by | Mar 5, 2026 | Featured, Featured: Features

Adoptable Animal-Luke

Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 4-year-old Luke.

Here is Baypath’s description of Luke:

“Luke is a happy, social boy who makes friends fast — the kind of pup who leans right in for pets the moment you say hello. He always looks like he’s smiling, and his cheerful, affectionate personality is hard to resist.

“Luke already knows the trick ‘sit,’ and he’s food-motivated and eager to learn. He loves getting out for walks, whether he’s strolling with his favorite volunteer pals or heading out alongside another dog. He’s playful and enjoys having fun, but he also has a really nice, easygoing way of settling back down after playtime.

“And if there’s snow? Luke is in his element. He lights up on snowy days — trotting through the fresh powder, tossing toys around and breaking into joyful zoomies that are guaranteed to make you smile. Add a doggy friend to the mix, and it’s his version of the perfect day.

“Luke does well with other dogs and would be thrilled to have canine friends, a dog sibling or regular playdates in his routine. If you’re looking for a sweet, friendly companion who’s ready for adventures and couch time, Luke might be your perfect match.”

For more information on Luke and any of the other available pets at Baypath, email adopt@baypathhumane.org or visit baypathhumane.org/adopt.
