Baypath Adoptable Animal of the Week: Millie

Adoptable Animal-Millie

Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 5-year-old Millie.

Here is Baypath’s description of Millie:

“Millie is 90 pounds of pure, gentle love!

“She may be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, her silly zoomies come out — especially when she finds a squeaky toy to toss around!

“She enjoys a calm, quiet environment and has a great medium energy level. Millie loves simply being with her people, but she also can’t resist a fun zoomie session or a play date with her mellow doggy pals. She walks well on leash and is happiest just relaxing close to her people. She’s patient, gentle and quietly affectionate.

“Millie gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy a well-matched canine companion, though it’s not required. She’ll thrive in a quieter home where she can take her time to decompress. She’s the sweetest girl and just needs a patient, loving home to help her continue coming out of her shell.

“Meet this long-legged lady and see her sweetness for yourself!”

For more information on Millie and any of the other available pets at Baypath, email adopt@baypathhumane.org or visit baypathhumane.org/adopt.
