Baypath Adoptable Animal of the Week: Owala

Adoptable Animal-Owala

Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 1-year-old Owala.

Here is Baypath’s description of Owala:

“Owala is a bright, affectionate dog who is ready to find a home of her own. Full of personality and enthusiasm, she’s the kind of companion who loves to be part of whatever her people are doing — whether that’s heading out for an adventure or relaxing at home.

“This smart, active girl enjoys playtime and would do best with a family excited to keep her engaged both mentally and physically. She’s eager to learn, already knows basic commands like ‘sit,’ and truly thrives on being with her people. Owala has been doing wonderfully on outings and field trips, where she shows off her great manners. She rides well in the car, is house-trained and settles in nicely after a day of activity for some quiet time and snuggles.

“She also does well with other dogs and enjoys walks with volunteers and hikes on trails. She would likely do well in a home where she can continue to build positive social connections.

“Owala is looking for an active, loving home that will include her in daily life and give her the opportunity to keep learning and grow.”

For more information on Owala and any of the other available pets at Baypath, email adopt@baypathhumane.org or visit baypathhumane.org/adopt.
