Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 4-year-old Ronan.

Here is Baypath’s description of Ronan:

“Ronan doesn’t let a bad hair day get him down! He loves to have all eyes on him — any type of attention is good attention! This scruffy and sweet boy is so excited to be someone’s sidekick. Could that someone be you?

“Ronan is an active and friendly boy! He loves to play with toys, especially ones that squeak! Always ready for an adventure! Hikes in the woods are his favorite, since cars driving by can make him nervous. He gets along well with other dogs. We think Ronan would do well with kids pending a meet.
