Baypath Adoptable Animal of the Week: Rosie

Adoptable Animal-Rosie

Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 3-year-old Rosie.

Here is Baypath’s description of Rosie:

“Rosie is a big, lovable bulldog with an even bigger personality. With her happy wiggles, expressive face and goofy charm, she has a way of making everyone smile — especially when she’s carrying a toy around while lobbying for pets and belly rubs (her favorite combo!).

“On a recent field trip with a volunteer, Rosie showed off what a gem she is: She rode quietly in the car (napping and window-watching like a pro), walked beautifully on a loose leash in the city, stayed calm around passing traffic and greeted new people with sweet, gentle enthusiasm.

“Rosie loves treats and sits politely for them, enjoys playtime and also knows how to settle and relax. In the home, she’s been well-mannered and toy-focused, and she generally seems comfortable with everyday routines and affection.

“True to her breed, Rosie is brachycephalic and will need an adopter who can keep her comfortable, safe and cool. She’s currently looking to be the only dog in the home, and because of her size and enthusiasm, may do best with older kids.

“If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate companion with major bulldog charm, Rosie may be your perfect match.”
