Baypath Adoptable Animal of the Week: Ruby

Adoptable Animal-Ruby

Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 2-year-old Ruby.

Here is Baypath’s description of Ruby:

“Meet Ruby! This wiggly little lady is the perfect medium size, with the softest coat and the brightest smile.

“Ruby is one of our newest arrivals, having recently traveled all the way from Florida in search of her happily-ever-after here in Massachusetts. This resilient sweetheart has already overcome a lot — she was rescued after being hit by a car — but she hasn’t let that stop her from showing how affectionate and sweet she truly is.

“Though she can be a little nervous at first, Ruby warms up quickly with patience and reassurance. Once she feels comfortable, her happy personality shines through with the cutest full-body wiggle and excited tail wags.

“She’s a squeaky toy enthusiast, knows her basic commands like sit, and is always eager to learn more — especially if treats are involved!

“She gets along well with other dogs who match her energy level and loves spending time playing or snuggling with her friends. Ruby is ready to find a family who will give her the love, care and reassurance she deserves — and in return, she’ll fill your home with endless affection and smiles.”

For more information on Ruby and any of the other available pets at Baypath, email adopt@baypathhumane.org or visit baypathhumane.org/adopt.
