Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 8-year-old Scruffy.
Here is Baypath’s description of Scruffy:
“Scruffy is a sweet senior looking for a cozy retirement home to call her own. At 8 years old and just 10 pounds, this affectionate little lady loves short walks, car rides, head scratches and curling up near her people.
“Scruffy is house-trained and crate-trained and sleeps through the night. She is currently in foster care, where she is doing well with another small dog and coming out of her shell more each day.
“If you are looking for a gentle companion and the perfect cuddle buddy for cooler days, Scruffy could be your perfect match!”
