Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 1-year-old Sonnet.
Here is Baypath’s description of Sonnet:
“Meet Sonnet, a sweet, affectionate cat who’s currently thriving in a foster apartment and proving what an easy companion she is.
“Sonnet has excellent house manners and loves being close to her people. Whether she’s curled up on her foster’s chest for a nap or quietly keeping you company throughout the day, she’s happiest when she’s nearby. She’s calm for most of the day, with one playful burst of zoomies to remind you she still likes to have fun.
“She also enjoys interactive toys and may occasionally give a gentle love nibble when she’s extra excited — just one of her endearing little quirks.
“If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate cat who will fit right into apartment or home life, Sonnet could be the perfect match.”
