Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 8-year-old Thumbelina.
Here is Baypath’s description of Thumbelina:
“Thumbelina is true to her name, a small lady full of love and light. She hasn’t met anyone she doesn’t like! Although found as a stray, Thumbelina knows that she is a princess. Now she just needs her castle and family to pamper her!
“Her favorite thing in the world is a tennis ball! She could chase one all day long! Or, if there’s no toys to play with, Thumbelina enjoys romping around with her canine friends.
“More than anything, though, she loves to be around her people. Snuggles on the couch, walks around the neighborhood, or family adventures, Thumbelina is always interested!
