Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is Wallace, a 3-year-old cat.
Here is Baypath’s description of Wallace:
“Are you looking for someone to read to, cuddle with, play games with, or talk to? Well, Wallace is all that and more! Let’s talk about what he loves and then we will get to what he needs and is looking for.
“Wallace is Mr. Social and loves to be with you! He has even convinced a few others that cats can be great. He loves to be petted and has always his motor running. He is one of the most affectionate cats and will sit in your lap, lay between your legs and lay against you. Wallace is a clown and always there to make you laugh; he loves all toys and playing games. When you get home he is the first one to greet to you and say hello. He has met a couple of dogs and cats and has done well. Wallace has also done well with children ages 5 and up.
“Wallace tested positive for feline immunodeficiency virus. He has had a rough start and does have some special medical needs. His kidneys are not great and he is currently on a special diet to help with allergies. We are not sure how what his lifespan may be, but want him to be spoiled and loved!”
