Business Briefs: Darbhanga joins Franklin Primary Care

Hopkinton resident Barjinder Darbhanga, M.D., has joined Franklin Primary Care, affiliated with Milford Regional Physician Group. Franklin Primary Care is located at 1280 West Central Street, Suite 301, Franklin, and is accepting new patients.

Dr. Darbhanga is no stranger to Milford Regional Physician Group, having served as a hospitalist since 2014. Prior to MRPG, she worked for six years in the Hospitalist Service at MetroWest Medical Center, where she achieved the best HCAHPS patient satisfaction scores in two consecutive years. Board certified in internal medicine, she earned her medical degree from Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh, India, and completed a residency in internal medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital, Saint Raphael Campus. Dr. Darbhanga has a special interest in women’s health and preventive medicine. …

Milford Regional Medical Center recently welcomed two senior administrators: Beth Cable is the chief financial officer and vice president for finance, and Tricia Oliver is the vice president for public relations, marketing and communications.

Richardson joins HCA board

Scott Richardson, president of Gorman Richardson Lewis Architects in Hopkinton, recently joined the board of directors for the Hopkinton Center for the Arts. Richardson has been involved with the HCA since its inception.

“The HCA is thrilled to have Scott Richardson as a new member of our board,” said HCA Executive Director Kelly Grill. “He has been such an instrumental part of the HCA’s history and success that it is only fitting that he now serves in a leadership role helping the HCA chart its next course.  His vision, commitment to the community and his talents as an artist are all a welcome addition to our dedicated team.”

The HCA Board of Directors includes local arts and business representatives whose wide range of experience and leadership contribute to the success of the HCA. Board members assist in the fiscal maintenance and stability of the organization as well as participating in fundraising activities.

Blackstone advisors recognized

Hopkinton-based Blackstone Valley Wealth Management’s two advisors, James A. Valis and Gregg R. Manis, were included in LPL Financial’s Director’s Club and Freedom Club, respectively. With more than 19,000 LPL-affiliated advisors nationwide, LPL awards select advisors with these distinctions based on an advisor’s business success.

Calvario recognized by Coldwell Banker

Hopkinton real estate agent Bernie Calvario was named to the International Sterling Society by Coldwell Banker Realty. The recognition indicates Calvario ranked in the top 18 percent of Coldwell Banker agents worldwide.
