Christopher Whalen

Christopher R. Whalen, 59, of Marlborough and formerly Hopkinton, passed away suddenly on July 29, 2026, at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester following a brief illness.

Chris attended Hopkinton schools and was a passionate fan of New England sports and NASCAR racing.

He is survived by his parents, Barbara (Evers) Speranza of Hopkinton and Landon Bullens of Milford; his brothers, Timothy Whalen and David Whalen, both of Danbury, New Hampshire, and Daniel Bullens and fiancée Michelle Beguerie of Florida (formerly of Milford); six nephews; three nieces and his godson, Leland Beads.

He was predeceased by his sister, Kimberly Pierce.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, at 10 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery in Hopkinton. A celebration of life for family and friends will follow at the Ashland VFW.
