Donna Tupa

Donna Tupa, 60, formerly of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Jan. 15. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Roger A. Collette and Gloria L. (Richards) Barthemes.

Donna graduated from St. Peter-Marian High School and Worcester State University with a master’s degree in psychology.

After Donna graduated from Worcester State University she enlisted in the U.S. Army until her retirement.

She will be missed by her three daughters, Meghan McClendon, Jackie Poe and husband William Travis, and Meredith McKay and husband Matthew Scott; a niece who resided with her, Kristle Kendrick and husband Jon; and four grandchildren, Madison, Lily, Brynleigh and William.

She also is survived by three brothers, Richard Collette of Boston, Mark Collette and wife Carol of Hopkinton, and Raymond Baillargeon and wife Patricia of North Brookfield; two sisters, Theresa Blakeney and husband Robert of Sequin, Texas, and Joanne DeMarco and husband Louis of Worcester; many nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces; an uncle, Robert Collette; and two aunts, Joan Kelly and Carmen Richard.

A Mmemorial Mass will be held Monday, Jan. 25, at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart-St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 600 Cambridge St., Worcester. Funeral services are under the care of the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home of Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart-St. Catherine of Sweden Church.
