Elizabeth Parise

Elizabeth D. Parise of Hopkinton, formerly of Somerville and Stoneham, passed away June 29. She was the beloved daughter of the late Anthony Parise and Alvina (Violante) Parise; and the devoted sister of Rose Marie DeAngelis and husband Joseph of Burlington, Cecilia Jovell and husband John of Somerville, and Rena Linnell and husband Herbert of Plymouth. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth was employed by New England Telephone Company, Polaroid and Bank of America. She also had her own cake decorating business and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Elizabeth also did volunteer work for various organizations.

Her funeral will be held from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Road, Lexington, on Thursday, July 6, at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Brigid Church, Lexington, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, July 5, from 4-7 p.m. Interment will take place at Westview Cemetery, Lexington. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
