The Hopkinton Trail Coordination and Management Committee (TCMC) and the Hopkinton Trails Club have created a monthly trail volunteer day on the first Saturday of each month from 9 a.m.-noon. Residents are encouraged to inform these groups of maintenance issues observed on trails (downed trees, trails becoming overgrown, etc.) by emailing TCMCchair@hopkintonma.gov or hopkinton.trails.club@gmail.com. Volunteers will meet at Cobblers Way, which is off Front Street, and clean out a cellar hole along the trail in Peloquin Woods that recently had a sign describing its history placed by Harrison Bograd as part of his Eagle Scout project. Work will involve pulling and clipping invasive plants. Volunteers should bring gloves, garden rakes and clippers.
