Fall is road race season in Hopkinton. Among the local races this month were Michael’s Run, where Hopkinton High School football players Sam Lozeau (76) and Owen MacDonald assisted Michael Carter Lisnow Respite Center participant Jen Gilman at the Town Common on Oct. 19, and the Paws & Claws 5K, where runners and walkers — including the Brown family of Hopkinton (Ken, Nick and Lisa) — took to the roads of Hopkinton State Park with their pets on Oct. 20.
