The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest will be held Tuesday, Jan. 30, at Hopkinton High School at the conclusion of the Ashland-Hopkinton boys basketball game (which starts at 6:30). All boys and girls ages 9-14 can participate.

The competition is an annual event sponsored by the Ashland/Hopkinton Bishop Rice Council 4822. Trophies will be presented to children in each age group who finish first or second, and a medal for third. First-place finishers advance to the district finals. The event brings the youth of the community together for a friendly competition, and all can participate, regardless of disabilities.
