The Hopkinton High School boys hockey team fell to Masconomet, 6-2, on Thursday night in a Division 2 state tournament first-round game at Haverhill Valley Forum.
The Hillers, seeded 29th, fell behind 4-0 in the first period before playing the fourth-seeded hosts to a draw in the final two periods. Drew Morse and Declan Durocher scored the Hopkinton goals.
Hopkinton finishes the season with a record of 10-11.
