HHS boys tennis reaches Division 2 state semifinals

The Hopkinton High School boys tennis team knocked off host Hingham, 3-2, on Thursday to advance to the Division 2 state tournament semifinals. Pranav Kapur won the decisive match at third singles.

With the win over the fourth-seeded Harbormen, the fifth-seeded Hillers (20-1) will take on the winner of Friday’s match between top-seeded Duxbury and eighth-seeded Belmont.

UPDATE: Hopkinton will play Duxbury (a 5-0 winner over Belmont) on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Lexington High School.
