by | Jun 1, 2023 | Education,

Hopkinton High School principal Evan Bishop announced that Friday’s graduation exercises, originally scheduled to be held at the football field, will be moved inside to the athletic center due to the threat of rain.

The ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. Doors will open at 5 p.m. Graduates are to meet in the cafeteria at 5:15.

There is a limit of six guests per graduate. The ceremony will be shown live on HCAM.

The graduation car parade is scheduled for Saturday at 10 a.m.and will be held rain or shine. The route has been altered and shortened this year. Cars will turn left out of the high school and take Hayden Rowe Street toward the center of town. The route turns right on Park Street at the Town Common, then right onto Ash Street (and a second right to remain on Ash Street). Drivers then will turn right on Chestnut Street and right onto Hayden Rowe Street to return to the high school.
