HHS jazz ensemble takes gold

The Hopkinton High School jazz ensemble won a gold medal at the Massachusetts Association of Jazz Educators State Festival on March 23.

The Hopkinton High School jazz ensemble, under the direction of Jeremy Dodge, earned its first-ever gold medal at the Massachusetts Association of Jazz Educators State Festival on March 23.

As a result, the group will be featured in a concert at the Hatch Shell in Boston on Sunday, May 19.

The jazz ensemble received an invitation to the state festival by earning a gold medal at the Central District Festival on March 6 at Nipmuc Regional High School in Mendon.
