HHS sports roundup: Girls hockey ends season with tie, loss; boys hockey blanks Holliston

The Hopkinton/Dover-Sherborn girls hockey co-op team closed out its season this weekend, highlighted by Saturday’s 1-1 tie vs. Westwood on a goal with 11 seconds remaining.

Sophia Mazzuchelli scored the tying goal for Hopkinton/D-S, and Kristin McCluskey shined in goal, making 55 saves.

On Sunday the girls dropped a 3-0 decision to Medway, ending their season with a record of 1-7-2.

The HHS boys hockey team posted a 3-0 victory over Holliston on Saturday.

Joe Carrazza, Pavit Mehra and Aidan Walsh scored the HHS goals. Cam Jerrett and Geoff Tocco had two assists each. Goalie Colin Norred recorded his second shutout of the year.

The boys, now 6-2, close the season with road games vs. Ashland on Wednesday afternoon and Medfield on Thursday morning.
