A local legend, Mackin has helped as a manager, coach, referee and more for HHS sports since the 1970s. “Scott quite simply represents everything that is great about Hiller Athletics and the Hopkinton community in general,” unified basketball coach Jay Golden shared. “His may be the most recognizable face in town, and he has positively impacted the lives of countless students, teachers, and coaches over 40-plus years of coaching here at HHS.”

Hillers Thrillers, sponsored by Hiller’s Pizza, is a weekly Hopkinton Independent feature. Each week during the school year, we will highlight a different Hopkinton High School athlete.
