by | Feb 12, 2024 | Featured: News, News

As a snowstorm headed for Hopkinton, Superintendent Carol Cavanaugh announced early Monday evening that public schools in town will be closed Tuesday. After-school activities are canceled as well.

The snow is expected to start around 1 a.m. and last until the afternoon, with 5-6 inches of total snowfall. The storm also could feature strong winds, and Eversource has warned of possible power outages.

Town Hall and municipal offices, including the library and the Senior Center, will be closed. Tuesday’s Select Board meeting will be held remotely, starting at 6 p.m. Some other meetings have been canceled.

Trash pickup will not run Tuesday, and there will be a one-day delay for the rest of the week.
