Animal lovers will have the chance to celebrate Baypath Humane Society and support animals in need at this year’s Fur Ball.
In a recent email newsletter, Baypath announced that tickets for its 13th annual Fur Ball are on sale. The evening is Baypath’s largest signature event and helps to “raise critical funds to support the general operations of the shelter,” according to the event website.
The ball, which is being held on March 28 at the Verve Hotel in Natick, will feature dinner, dancing and stories of donor and supporter impact.
Both a live auction and a silent auction are part of the evening as well. While the live auction is available only to those in attendance, anyone is welcome to participate virtually in the silent auction. Those looking to participate can register for the silent auction on Baypath’s event page. The auction preview will go live March 20, and bidding will begin March 25.
The theme of this year’s event is inspired by the northern lights. In its newsletter, Baypath asks guests to “dress to dazzle in shimmering, celestial-inspired attire.” Colors that mimic those of the aurora borealis are encouraged.
Tickets for the event are $150 per person. Attendees can purchase individual tickets or reserve a table of eight for their group. Sponsorship opportunities also are available. More information on buying a ticket or making a donation can be found here.
