Hopkinton Today: Friday, Feb. 3

by | Feb 3, 2023 | Featured: Features,

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.

The Upper Charles Trail Committee at its meeting Wednesday night briefly addressed two citizens’ petitions for the Annual Town Meeting warrant proposed by a local trails advocate, one that seeks to dismantle the current committee and form a new one with new members.

The Harlem Wizards stopped at Hopkinton High School on Wednesday night for a game against a team made up of Hopkinton Public Schools staff, and we have photos.

This week’s Baypath Adoptable Animal is Root Beer, a 5-month-old cat who is friendly, affectionate and playful.

Photo of the Day: Cracks in a small patch of ice form an interesting pattern in front of a home on Maple Street. The ice won’t be going away anytime soon, as sub-zero temperatures are forecast for Hopkinton today and tomorrow.
