Hopkinton Today: Friday, July 26

by | Jul 26, 2024 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

The Sandy Beach Subcommittee of the Parks & Recreation Commission on Wednesday evening outlined some safety measures to prevent jet skiers from veering too close to swimmers and to stop after-hours partying and barbecuing.

The Community Preservation Committee at its meeting Thursday night received status updates on current projects that had received CPC funding.

This week’s Baypath Adoptable Animal is Xena, a 4-year-old who is “both playful and cuddly, enjoying rope toys and snuggle sessions equally.”

The Hopkinton Center for the Arts will be busy this weekend with performances from the Fat City Band (Friday), Racky Thomas Blues Band (Saturday) and Bob Martin Jazz Quartet (Sunday).

Photo of the Day: Players compete at the Parks & Recreation boys basketball camp at Hopkinton High School.
