Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

The upper beach at Hopkinton State Park has been deemed unfit for swimming by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation due to high bacteria counts (enterococci). The main beach, however, remains open.

This week’s Baypath Adoptable Animal is 1-year-old Gracie. who is “quite shy and is looking for someone to show her what it’s like to have a loving home.”
