Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
A relief fund was started by a neighbor for the Au family, whose Saddle Hill Road home caught fire May 26 and suffered severe damage. The fire apparently started when lightning struck the home. The residents were not home at the time, but one of the family’s two cats perished in the blaze, according to the GoFundMe page.
The Hopkinton Center for the Arts is hosting its Perennials for Pops fundraiser through June 20. Participants choose any combination of six types of perennials from Weston Nurseries to keep or give as a gift. A portion of each sale is donated back to the HCA.
